How we protect your voice.

This page is maintained by the Karenni State Interim Legislative Assembly (ကရင်နီပြည်ကြားကာလလွှတ်တော်) to explain how submissions made through this website are handled. It is not an independent certification.

• Submission content — the subject, category, and message you type into the form.
• Optional contact — only if you choose to enter a phone number, email, or Signal handle so the Assembly can follow up.
• Timestamp — the date and time the submission was received.

We do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, location, or identification. We do not collect IP addresses, device identifiers, or analytics cookies through this submission form.

Submissions are transmitted over TLS (HTTPS) and stored in a managed database with access restricted to authorised Assembly secretariat staff. Database access requires authenticated credentials and is governed by row-level security rules — the public cannot read other people's submissions through this site.

• Reviewed by the Assembly secretariat.
• Sorted by category and forwarded to the relevant Assembly committee.
• Used to inform deliberation, policy, and follow-up action.

Submissions are kept confidential. Your words will not be published, quoted publicly, or shared outside the Assembly without your explicit consent.

Submissions are retained only as long as needed for review and follow-up by the relevant committee. Optional contact details are deleted on request — see "Your rights" below.

Because submissions can be made fully anonymously, we may not be able to locate a specific submission without identifying information. If you provided contact details and wish to withdraw your submission or have your contact deleted, please reach the secretariat through an established Assembly channel and reference the approximate date of your submission.

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and access controls on storage. No online system is ever completely risk-free. Please do not include information in a submission that would put you or others at serious risk if it were ever disclosed.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in Assembly procedures or the way the site operates. The "last updated" date above will change when it does.
